Ignite Innovators and the Nakseong Venture Center invite you to participate in Ignite Your Startup 2021! This program is designed for startups in health and  wellness that want to enter the US market.

The program experts will help you develop your market entry strategy, in alignment with the UN's SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being to "ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages."

The COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, social inequity, and environmental pollution have highlighted an urgent need for innovations for medical care, consumer wellness, and public health.

This program will be delivered online, and startups that apply will receive the following benefits:

  • Access to co-working space at the Nakseong Venture Center.
  • A one-year membership to Lighting Up Ventures including exclusive content and online office hours

Your startup must be addressing needs in consumer wellness, medical care, or public health.

The need can be addressed directly through product innovation (such as medical devices and health wellness apps) or through business model innovation (introducing clean energy to displace pollution-emitting generators).

You will have to commit to attend all sessions via Zoom. Each workshop (3) and Expert group sessions (4) will be 90 minutes in length, and two 45-minute one-on-one sessions. The total time commitment will be 15-25 hours from August 23-September 27th.

Any company can apply, but preference will be given to startups with a mailing address in the Gwanak-gu district.
